Wed July 9 – Full Moon Striped Bass
Capt Carl reports a slow night of Striped Bass fishing tonight, but not without action.
We started off with the jigs and caught some Bluefish and a bunch of GIANT Porgies, but no Bass.
Then we switched over to the live eels, but we had similar results with Bluefish just taking over. After landing a bunch, we ventured away from the Blues in search of the Stripers, but there were none to be had.
That being said, looks like we will be heading over to Block Island for Friday nights Full Moon trip! Time to head to the “land of the large” and see what kind of Moo Cows we can muster up!
The pool winner was Warner Alvarez from Center Moriches, NY with a 7 lb Bluefish.
