Wed July 16 – Montauk Lighthouse Jumbo Porgies & Knothead Sea Bass

Captain Dave reports a day of unbelievably good Porgy fishing. We started down by the Lighthouse where we caught plenty of nice-sized Sea Bass and Porgies. When the tide got a little rough we moved down, closer to the beach where we caught some nice Flukes and Sea Bass. Congratulations to our pool winner, Colin Taylor from Brooklyn, NY, who caught a 3.2 lb Porgy. Another congratulations to our edible pool winner, Michael Wright from Hempstead, NY, who caught a 5 lb Fluke.
