Thurs July 17 – Full Day Jumbo Fluke and Knothead Seabass

Captain JR reports an AMAZING day on the Viking Starlite. We had great action for the entire trip capturing all the species local Montauk waters have to offer. The Fluke made a great showing with several guys having an easy limit of beauties. The Sea Bass were basically everywhere we went and no one had a problem getting a limit of those. We headed out into the deeper waters and found loads of delicious ling and a few more nice fluke to add to the great catch. A prosperous day! Congratulations to our pool winner, Joe Sclafin from Staten Island, NY, who caught a 6.5 lb Fluke and a 4.5 lb Sea Bass.
