Thurs July 24 – Montauk Lighthouse Jumbo Porgies & Knothead Sea Bass

Capt Dave reports a good trip on the Viking Starship. To start off the trip we looked for Sea Bass about half way to Block Island to get away from the hard running tide. Everyone had their limit, but they had to go through a lot of shorts to get to them. We finished the day at the lighthouse with excellent Porgy fishing. The pool winner was Carol F. from Wayne, NJ with a 3.4 lb Porgy.
