Sat July 26 – Full Day Block Island Jumbo Fluke & Knothead Sea Bass

Capt JR reports a fair day of Block Island fishing onboard the Viking Starlite. The Sea Bass were EVERYWHERE. So, it wasn’t an issue finding plenty of big Knot Heads to go around. The Fluking was at times red hot with double headers coming up. But, the size was a bit of an issue. We searched around and found a few to add to the very nice sea bass catch. All in all not a bad day at all. Congratulations to our pool winners Frank Neri, who caught a 4.5 lb Fluke and Roan Mconone, who caught a 3.5 lb Sea Bass.
