Sat July 26 – Montauk Lighthouse Jumbo Porgies & Knothead Sea Bass

Capt Dave reports a fantastic day on the Viking Starship. Everywhere we went they bit their heads off! We first stopped at the lighthouse and had an 1 1/2 slow drift with mostly big Porgies, a few Fluke and Sea Bass. When the tide ran hard we headed down the beach and anchored up. It was excellent fishing with mixed size Porgies and a few Sea Bass. The first place pool winner was Enrique M. from Brooklyn, NY with a 3.6 lb Porgy. The edible pool winner was Lesley S. from Elmont, NY with a 4 lb Fluke.
