Thurs July 31 – Montauk Lighthouse Jumbo Porgies and Knothead Seabass

Capt. Dave reports and excellent morning of Porgy fishing today. We got a few handfuls of keeper Porgies and decided to head offshore for some Seabass towards the end of the trip. We had to pick through a good amount of shorts, but we ended up getting some keepers, and the Seabass bite today was better than it has been. We ended up with some nice Porgies, Seabass, Ling, Fluke, and some Bluefish. The pool winner today was Keith Prize from NY, NY, with a 3.8 lb Porgy.  a man standing on a boat a person holding a fish a little boy that is standing in the water
