Tues Aug 5 – Montauk Lighthouse Jumbo Porgies and Knothead Seabass

Capt Dave reports a pretty slow morning of fishing on the Viking Starship due to the tide. It wasn’t the best conditions, but as soon as the conditions got better we started catching. We did a two hour drift and got some really nice size Porgies, Sea Bass, and Fluke. We then went over towards Block Island to get some more Sea Bass, and did very very well over there. Everyone ended up with a nice catch despite the slow start this morning. The pool winner was Carl D. from Roosevelt Field with a 3.3 lb Porgy.
