Wed Aug 6 – Fully Day Jumbo Fluke & Knothead Sea Bass

Captain JR reports a great day on the Viking Starlite. Early in the trip we had some very tough conditions but had a pick of Sea Bass and mostly small Fluke. Later in the trip the conditions and the catching for Sea Bass vastly improved! We ended up with a good catch of knot-head Sea Bass and we found some nice Fluke to add to the catch. Congratulations to our Sea Bass pool winner, J. Lopez from the Bronx, NY, who caught a 4.5 lb Sea Bass. And, congratulations to our Fluke pool winner, David, L., from Brooklyn, NY, who caught a 4.5 lb Fluke.
