Thur Aug 7 – Montauk Lighthouse Jumbo Porgies & Knothead Sea Bass

Capt Dave reports a decent day on the Viking Starship. We had to hide from the tide early this morning, so we headed down the beach and had a steady pick of mixed size stuff. When the tide eased we drifted by the lighthouse and it was kind of slow fishing. We ended up anchoring east of the lighthouse and found Big Porgies, some Sea Bass and Bluefish to finish off the trip. The pool winner was Everton Devonish from Brooklyn, NY with a 3.1 lb Porgy.
