Sat Aug 9 – Full Moon Striped Bass

Capt Carl reports a beautiful night on the water with a giant Full Moon coupled with some Giant Striped Bass! Action was by no means hot and heavy, but the fish we did catch were real Sea Monsters! Again, all the Striped Bass we caught were WAYYYY over the slot limit size, and we also had a couple of Blues and Sea Bass. Congrats to long time Viking regular Jagmohan Sugit from Queens, NY who took the pool with a 12 lb Bluefish. “Jags” had a great weekend with us, fishing both 1/2 day trips on Friday, our Bass trip Friday night, Full Day Porgies and Sea Bass on Saturday, and Bass Fishing again with us Saturday night. Needless to say, his freezer is gonna be full! Thanks again for a great crowd and we look forward to seeing everyone again in 2 weeks for the New Moon night fishing trips!
