Tues Aug 12 – Montauk Lighthouse Jumbo Porgies and Knothead Saebass

Capt. Dave reports a good start to the morning with really good Porgy fishing. We were catching some mixed size fish, a lot of smalls but ended up with a good amount of keepers. When the tide started to change we decided to go over to Block Island for some Seabass, and we had to pick through a lot of smalls but had a handful of keepers at the end. We also had some Bluefish, Triggerfish, and even some Fluke! Congratulations to the first place pool winner, Wendell C. from Brooklyn, NY, with a 3 lb Porgy. Congratulations to the edible pool winner, Lenny O. from Brooklyn, NY, with a 4.2 lb Seabass.
