Tue Aug 19 – Montuak Lighthouse Jumbo Porgies & Knothead Sea Bass

Capt Dave reports good fishing on the Viking Starship. The early morning by the lighthouse was very good with the flood tide. We made a few different drops and we found fish on all of them. When the ebb tide turned on dirty water came in and it got picky. We had plenty of Porgies, some Sea Bass and a bunch of big Bluefish. The first place pool winner was Everton Devonish with a 3 lb Porgy. The edible pool winner was Amin Pareres with an 11 lb Bluefish. Unfortunately the trip is cancelled tomorrow due to unfavorable conditions expected.
