Tue Aug 26 – Montauk Lighthouse Jumbo Porgies & Knothead Sea Bass

Capt Dave reports a decent day on the Viking Starship. We tried something different today and headed to the west side of Block Island. Unfortunately it was too early. There was a lot of action, but it was with small Porgies & Sea Bass. Everyone only managed a few nice ones there. We headed back to Montauk and stopped by the lighthouse where everyone was able to get their fill of Porgies. The pool winner was Jerry Benitez from Queens, NY with a 2.8 lb Porgy.
