Thurs Aug 28 – Montauk Lighthouse Jumbo Porgies & Knothead Sea Bass

Capt Dave reports a true mixed bag on the Viking Starship today. We tried out the island again and had a really good trip. Not a bail job, but steady. There were mixed size Porgies, Sea Bass, Fluke, Ling, Mackerel, ocean Bonita and Bluefish of various sizes. Porgies were on the smaller size than we have been seeing, Sea Bass were fatter and limits were had around the boat. The pool winner was David C. from NJ with a 3.3 lb Porgy.
