Fri Aug 29 – Montauk Lighthouse Jumbo Porgies & Knothead Sea Bass

Capt Dave reports a good trip, but not as lively as yesterday. We headed back to the same spot by Block Island and had a slow steady pick of mixed size Porgies; Sea Bass, but not as many as yesterday, Mackerel, Fluke and about a dozen Triggerfish. The pool Porgy was truly a legit Jumbo. The pool winner was Mario Guevara with a 3 1/2 lb Porgy. The edible pool winner was Eric Machicote with a 5 lb Triggerfish.
