Sat Sept 6 – Montauk Lighthouse Jumbo Porgies & Knothead Sea Bass

Capt Dave reports a decent day on the Viking Starship. Fishing was very slow and rough all day due to wind and tide. We were able to catch many small sizes of Porgies and Sea Bass that we couldn’t put in the buckets and take home. However, Perseverance allowed some people to catch some good sizes of Porgies. On the other hand, we had a good Tigger fishing with a pretty sizes. The pool winner were Jane Sung Chang from Queens, NY with a 3.0 lb Porgy, and Abrahan Bronx, NY with a 4.5 lb Tigger.
