Sun Sept 7 – Montauk Lighthouse Jumbo Porgies and Knothead Seabass

Captain Dave reports decent action today. We stayed by the lighthouse due to the conditions and found steady action, though most of the fish were on the smaller side. There were plenty of short Porgies and Seabass that had to go back, but everyone managed to put some nice keepers in the cooler. We also saw a few Triggerfish and Fluke mixed in. The pool winner was Melvin Porter from the Bronx, NY, with a 2.3 lb Porgy.
