Fri Sept 19 – Block Island Fall Jumbo Porgies and Knothead Seabass

Capt Dave reports good fishing on the Viking Star. We started out fishing close to Block Island and had mostly nice size Porgies picking away until 11AM with Bonita, Triggerfish and Fluke in the mix. Then we headed to the Sea Bass grounds and had one really good drop pulling up some 3 to 4 lb fish. Everyone had a few Sea Bass and some had their limit. The pool winner was Tony Ho from Queens, NY with a 3.3 lb Porgy. The edible pool winner was Jose Alfaro from Bayshore, NY with a 4.5 lb Sea Bass.
