Fri Sept 26 – Block Island Jumbo Porgies & Knothead Sea Bass

Capt Dave reports very good fishing on the Viking Starship. We had great conditions up close to Block Island. In three hours we had two great drifts with mixed size Porgies and Sea Bass coming over the rail. Offshore of the island we did well with Sea Bass with some Porgies in the mix. There were also some Cod we had to throw back, Triggerfish and an Amber Jack. The pool winner was Luis Acosta from Bronx, NY with a 3.2 lb Porgy.
