Mon Sept 29 – Block Island Fall Jumbo Porgies and Knothead Seabass

Capt. Dave reports that we fished by Block Island today and the bite was a little slower today than it has been. We got a bunch of smaller fish so we decided to go offshore where we did good. We had a nice mix of nice size Porgies and Seabass, as well as Trigger Fish and tons of Mackerel. Pretty good fishing all around. The first place pool winner was Billy Wong from Queens, NY with a 2.7 lb Porgy. The second place pool winner was Desmond Forsythe from Brooklyn, NY, with a 2.5 lb Seabass.
