Thurs Oct 16 – Block Island Fall Jumbo Porgies & Knothead Sea Bass

Capt Dave reports a decent day of fishing on the Viking Starship. We anchored up south of Block Island and had everything biting. The Porgies and Sea Bass were on the smaller side, but when it calmed down and we got to move around to some different spots we found bigger fish. There was plenty of action including Mackerel, Triggerfish and Bluefish.
It was a much better outcome than we expected after the blow. The pool winner was Junior Honeywell from Jamaica, Queens with a 3.5 lb Porgy.
