Fri Oct 17 – Block Island Fall Jumbo Porgies & Knothead Sea Bass

Capt Dave reports another good day of fishing. Our first drop was not great. There were mostly smaller Porgies and Sea Bass. We quickly made a move and found a spot to anchor and spend the day on. It was mostly Sea Bass to start then the Porgies started to bite and we had them the rest of the day. They were mixed size from mediums to large. There were also some Mackerel. The pool winner was Greg Brown from Brooklyn, NY with a 3.3 lb Porgy.
