Fri Oct 24 – Block Island Fall Jumbo Porgies & Knothead Sea Bass

Capt Dave reports a decent day on the Viking Starship. We had very good Sea Bass fishing everywhere we went with nice big stuff. Porgy fishing was pretty tough and they were on the skinny side. We moved around a few times looking for Porgies, but had the same results everywhere. There were also a bunch of nice Cod that had to be returned, the Mackerel are still around and we also had some Pollock. The first place pool winner was Joel H. from Philadelphia, PA with a 3.1 lb Porgy. The edible pool winner was Abraham from Bronx, NY with a 4.5 lb Sea Bass.
