Sun Oct 26 – 1/2 Day Jigging AM

Captain Carl reports that yesterday morning was challenging. We tried fishing down the beach looking for the Sea Bass, but they just weren’t there. We jigged up some Mackerel, but that was about it. We switched gears and dropped some bait down and caught a couple Sea Bass to keep. Our pool winner was Rice Jim from NY with a 2.5 lb Sea Bass. In the afternoon, we had a charter with the Nugent and Potter group, and we went bottom fishing and were reward with some Porgies and Sea Bass to make a nice afternoon of fishing.
