Mon Nov 3 – Blackfish & Sea Bass – Viking Star

Captain JR reports another good day onboard the Viking Star. The Sea Bass fishing was very good with everyone getting a great haul of big knot heads. Despite some uncomfortable and challenging conditions, the Blackfish portion of the trip improved again today with many guys getting a nice limit. Quality fish on all of our drops with loads of life all around. The first place pool winner was Michael Jeing from Freeport, NY with a 9.0 lb Blackfish. The edible pool winner was Zhou Yongguo from Chicago, Il with a 4.5 lb Sea Bass.
