Sun Nov 9 – Blackfish & Sea Bass – Viking Star

Captain JR reports another good day onboard the Viking Star. Sea Bass fishing was very good and everyone captured a VERY nice collection of knot heads. The Blackfish portion of trip was much as it has been lately. We had some high quality Blackfish around the boat and, as always, some did better than others. Definitely a few more limits onboard today than yesterday. And those with the Blackfish know how had no problem getting a few for their buckets. The first place pool winner was Tom Lambert from Freeport, NY with a 6.5 lb Blackfish. The edible pool winner was Gim Yee from Queens, NY with a 6.5 lb Sea Bass.
