Fri June 26 – Nantucket Fluke Trip

Capt JR reports a decent trip onboard the Viking Starship. The morning bite was ok with all quality Fluke coming over the rail. The change of tide definitely slowed things a bit, but we continued picking away all day. It was certainly a quality over quantity day with 5-8 pound fish making up a large portion of the catch. A couple double digit monsters kept everyone dialed in. We were very appreciative of everyone who fished hard all day and put forth a great effort.
The pool winners were:
1st Place Pool – Howie Glickberg from Amagansett, 11.5 lb Fluke
2nd Place Pool – Ed from New York, 9 lb Fluke
