Captain Dave reports a good trip with beautiful weather on the Viking Star. The fishing was really great today near the Lighthouse. People can catch a lot of Porgies and few Fluke. Captain Carl reports great success on our first Whale Watching trip! We saw lots of dolphins and had a close encounter with a beautiful Fin Whale! Captain Dave reports an AMAZING day for Porgies. We started off very strong by the lighthouse, reeling up plenty of nice-sized Porgies. By the end of our first drift we had all the Porgies we needed. Fri June 27 – Montauk Lighthouse Jumbo Porgies & Knothead Sea Bass

Capt Dave reports very good fishing on the Viking Star today. We had BIG Porgies by the lighthouse to start the trip. When we tried down the beach we had mixed size fish. We jogged offshore for Sea Bass and it was okay. There were also some Fluke and Bluefish out there. The pool winner was Chen T. from Queens, NY with a whopper 3.6 lb Porgy.
