Block Island Jumbo Porgies & Knothead SeaBass Capt Dave reports good fishing on the Viking Starship. We had excellent Seabass fishing to start the day. They were in the 5 to 6 lb range and everyone had their limit. We had to check out some spots to find Porgies and we found a nice pick. We also had about 10 Cod and a couple of Bluefish. The pool winner was Eddie Sadang from Bergenfield, NJ with a 4.1 lb Scup. The trip is CANCELLED for tomorrow Saturday, Oct 27.

Block Island Jumbo Porgies & Knothead SeaBass Capt Dave reports a slow pick on the Viking Starship. The fish were a bit off the bite today. We did have a mix of Porgies, Sea Bass and a handful of Cod. The pool winner was Erik Flores from Amityville, NY with a 3lb Porgy. The weather looks great for tomorrow and we will be sailing at 5am.

Schedule Update: Unfortunately all trips are CANCELLED for Saturday Oct 27th due to the impending Nor’Easter and Gale Force Winds.

Full Moon Striped Bass Capt Steven Jr reports a very tough night with the rough conditions on the Viking Starship. We only had 1 small keeper bass for the night. We are on schedule to sail Friday night, but Saturday night has been cancelled.

Block Island Jumbo Porgies & Knothead SeaBass Capt Dave reports reports really good fishing on the Viking Starship. We had A Lot of SeaBass up to 6 lbs. Our first two drops were loaded and on our third drop we went looking for Porgies where we found a good pick of mixed size fish. We also had a couple of Cod and Bluefish. There was no pool onboard today.

We also had some Cod and Pollock. The largest Cod was 17 lbs. The pool winner was Barry Austin from Deer Park, NY with a 2 3/4 lb Porgy.
