Mon Oct 31 – Block Island Jumbo Porgies & Knothead Sea Bass
Capt Dave reports a very good day of fishing today on the Viking Star. With a light crowd of people we decided to check out a few different spots and target the trophy sizes going for quality rather than quantity. We did in fact find some really nice sized Porgies as well as really big SeaBass up to 5 lbs and had about 15 Cod fish on the boat. Fishing was very steady today with these beauty sizes and as of tomorrow November 1st- the Porgy limit per person drops back to 30 Porgies. Happy Halloween from the Viking Fleet and we will be sailing again at 5 am on the Block Island Fall Porgies and SeaBass.
