Fri Nov 4 – Block Island Fall Jumbo Porgies & Knothead Sea Bass

Capt Dave reports good fishing today on the Viking Superstar. Porgy fishing was much better today than it has been. The fish were biting and they seemed to be moving in bigger piles.  SeaBass fishing was good today, the Porgy bite made it a little more difficult to pick through, but once we made our way into the deeper water the bite was more consistent. Fish quality was great, with nice jumbo Porgies and large Knothead SeaBass, along with about a half a dozen Cod fish on the boat. The first place pool winner went to Xi Pei He from Brooklyn, NY with a 3.6 lb Porgy. The edible pool winner went to Angelo Kontominas from North Brunswick, NJ with a 5.5 lb SeaBass. We are almost sold out for tomorrow’s 5am Porgy and SeaBass trip so don’t forget to make your reservation online or by calling the office directly. a man holding a fish a person holding a fisha person standing next to a body of water  a man holding a fish on a boat in a body of water
