The edible pool winner was Mike Mendoros with a 6 lb Pollock. Tomorrow’s trip is cancelled due to weather.

Sun Dec 5 – Block Island Jumbo Porgies & Knothead SeaBass

Capt. Dave reports an excellent day of fishing today on the Viking Starship. There was a lot of excitement with the Porgies, they were biting their heads off. The Sea Bass bite was a bit tough because it seemed to be that the Porgies were getting to the bait first. The Sea Bass that came up were good sized, nothing too big but some solid fish. The first place pool winner was the biggest Porgy weve seen on the boat in a while, caught by Jorge B Davila Cotten with a 3.7 lb Porgy. There was not a drawing for the edible pool. Tomorrows Block Island Jumbo Porgies and Knothead Sea Bass is cancelled due to weather, but we are looking forward to sailing again soon.
