Montauk Jumbo Lighthouse Porgies and Knothead Sea Bass Capt Dave reports a good fishing despite less than ideal conditions aboard the Viking Starship.  We started the moring offshore on the anchor fishing for sea bass, we picked through tons of little fish but by the time we picked up to move everyone had their limit.  We also had a handful of porgies and triggers while on anchor.  We moved inshore for porgies, conditions were rough and the water was dirty but we fought through it and put together a decent catch of large porgies with a couple of fluke and blues in the mix.  Today’s pool winner was Alex of Mt. Vernon, NY with a 3.5lb porgy.
