Montauk Jumbo Porgies & Knothead Sea Bass Capt Dave reports freezing cold weather, but RED HOT fishing! We had limits of Porgies up to 4 lbs, plenty of jumbo Sea Bass and around 35 Cod. High hook on the Cod was Johnny “Pizza” with 7. There was no pool today.

Mon Dec 11- Viking Superstar
Block Island Jumbo Porgies and Knothead Sea Bass Captain Dave reports a good day of fishing today aboard the Viking Superstar. The day started off a little slow, it was rough and windy, but we powered through the day. We had some mixed size porgies on the first few drops and then moved around. We made some more drops, which produced a nice pile of larger porgies, some nice sea bass and some cod. Overall it was a good day of fishing today.

Montauk Jumbo Porgies & Knothead Sea Bass Capt. Dave reports excellent fishing today on the Viking Superstar. We had big quality fish with limits of Porgies and Sea Bass for everyone. We also had 6 Cod up to 11 lbs Unfortunately all trips are cancelled for tomorrow, Sunday December 10th due to weather.

Block Island Cod & Sea Bass 30 to 50 Mile Wreck We had the same group of guys the last two days out and put together a nice pile of Sea Bass, Cod and Blackfish together!
Fri Dec 8 – Viking Superstar
Block Island Jumbo Porgies & Knothead Sea Bass Capt Dave reports a decent day of fishing on the Viking Superstar. The Porgies are still here and we caught plenty of them. We had a handful of the really good sized ones. Everyone who really worked at it through the cold had their limits of both Porgies & Sea Bass. We also had about 1 dozen Cod up to 15 lbs. The pool winner was John Cho from Manhattan, NY with a 3.11 lb Porgy.

Block Island Jumbo Porgies and Knothead Sea Bass Captain Dave reports a fine day of fishing aboard the Viking Superstar. We managed some decent fishing despite the rough waters. Had some decent sized porgies and a handful of sea bass. We also had one keeper cod at 11lbs.
