Sun Dec 17 – Viking Superstar
Block Island Fall Jumbo Porgies and Knothead Sea Bass Capt Dave reports a slow porgy bite today on the Viking Superstar. Despite it being a slow bite with limited fish caught, all the porgies were nice sized fish. The sea bass bite was significantly better with close to everyone aboard catching a couple. The cod bite very good today with Marvos from the galley as high hook with 8 cod. Today’s pool winner was Wenli Liu of Queens, NY with a 4lb porgy.

Montauk Jumbo Porgies & Knothead Sea Bass Capt Dave reports freezing cold weather, but RED HOT fishing! We had limits of Porgies up to 4 lbs, plenty of jumbo Sea Bass and around 35 Cod. High hook on the Cod was Johnny “Pizza” with 7. There was no pool today.

Mon Dec 11- Viking Superstar
Block Island Jumbo Porgies and Knothead Sea Bass Captain Dave reports a good day of fishing today aboard the Viking Superstar. The day started off a little slow, it was rough and windy, but we powered through the day. We had some mixed size porgies on the first few drops and then moved around. We made some more drops, which produced a nice pile of larger porgies, some nice sea bass and some cod. Overall it was a good day of fishing today.
