Block Island Jumbo Porgies and Knothead Sea Bass Captain Dave reports another nice day of fishing today aboard the Viking Superstar. We had to look around a bit and pick through some smaller fish, but we ended up with a nice pile of nice quality fish. We had some really nice sized porgies and sea bass today, along with about 15 keeper cod up to 17lbs. Unfortunately tomorrow’s trip has been CANCELLED due to weather.

Block Island Fall Jumbo Porgies and Knothead Sea Bass Capt Dave reports lots of action today aboard the Viking Superstar.  We picked through little fish all day but limits of both sea bass and porgies were caught.  We also caught a good amount of cod fish today.  Today’s first place pool winner was Brantley Black of Newark, NJ 3.5lb porgy.  The second place pool winner was George Liang of Brooklyn, NY with a 24lb cod.

Block Island Jumbo Porgies and Knothead Sea Bass Captain Dave reports another good day of fishing with perfect weather today. We had to pick through a lot of smaller fish today, but by the end of the day everyone had their limits, or close to it, of both porgies and sea bass. We also had about 10 keeper cod and a couple pollack. Today’s pool winner was Lee Eli with a nice 4.4lb porgy.

We had to search around a little bit this morning but then we found a nice pile of fish and it kept us busy all day. We had plenty of action with some nice porgies and sea bass. We also had some keeper cod and a handful of pollock. Today’s pool winner was Donald Hyde of the Bronx with a 3.8lb porgy.

Block Island Jumbo Porgies & Knothead Sea Bass Capt Dave reports a lot of action on the Viking Superstar. There were tons of bites, but the majority was smaller fish. We moved off to a different area where we had nicer sized Porgies and Sea Bass and quite a few Cod. There were 30 plus Cod up to 16 lbs. Everyone had close to their limits. The first place pool winner was Sing Wong with a 2 3/4 lb Porgy. The second place winner was Jun Liu with a 16 lb Cod.

Block Island Jumbo Porgies & Knothead Sea Bass Capt Dave reports excellent Porgy & Sea Bass fishing today aboard the Viking Superstar. The Sea Bass were so thick we had to move away to find better sized Porgies. We found some big ones with Sea Bass mixed in. We also had Cod, Bluefish and a couple of big Pollock. The pool winner was Mike Peccoraro from Bronx, NY with a 3 lb Porgy.

30-50 Mile Wreck Trip Capt Steven Jr reports slammer Sea Bass fishing today on the wreck trip! All quality sized fish and plenty of them!

Block Island Jumbo Porgies & Knothead Sea Bass Capt Dave reports good action on the Viking Superstar today. There was a lot of life and the Sea Bass catch was plentiful. We did have to pick through some small fish and there were very few dogfish, but everyone managed their limits. We also had 6 Cod up to 10 lbs and some Bluefish. The pool winner was Argen Llupi from Philadelphia, PA with a 2 3/4″ Porgy.
