1/2 Day Fishing – AM Capt Carl reports due to the strong East wind and nautical conditions fishing was slow today. We caught a few bluefish, a bunch of short fluke and sea bass – released unharmed. Chelsea Cavanaugh from Bayshore, NY with a 10 lb bluefish. Happy Memorial Day everyone!

Night Striped Bass Capt Carl reports a very slow night on the bass boat tonight. We started off jigging and had some action with some bluefish, 1 short Bass, and some Sea Bass released unharmed. Once it got dark and we switched to eels we only got one more bluefish and that was it. In two weeks we have the June Moon, June 9th, so we expect things to be ready to catch fire by then! Ralph Maher from Queens, NY took the pool with a 12 lb bluefish.

1/2 Day Fluke PM Captain Steven Sr reports a slow pick aboard the Viking Starship this afternoon. We had a few fluke up to 5lbs, with a couple blues in the mix. The pool winners from today were Jose G Flores from East Hampton NY with a 5.2lb fluke and in second place Justin Madden with a 5lb fluke.

1/2 Day Fluke AM Captain Steven Sr reports an okay day of fishing aboard the Viking Starship today. Lots of fluke up to 6lbs and some nice keepers. There was tons of Seabass caught and released unharmed. There were some blues and and some Porgies too. First place in the pool went to Angelo Demetroulakos from Brooklyn NY with a nice 7lb Fluke and second place was a 5.6lb Fluke caught by Charlie Lorwin aged 11 from East Hampton NY.

Montauk Spring Jumbo Porgies Captain Dave reports a bit of a slow day today aboard the Viking Star. It was a very slow pick but everyone managed a half pale of porgies. We also had some blues in the mix. Today’s pool winner was Jorge Paterakis with a 2.5lb porgy.
