Montauk Porgies and Sea Bass Captain Dave reports another decent day on the Viking Star. We had more porgies than usual today, along with about 25 keeper cod and some sea bass, which almost everyone had their limit of. It was overall another good day of bottom fishing. Today’s first place pool winner was Danny Ko of Brooklyn with a 3lb porgy and in second place was Hung Lee of Brooklyn with a 15lb cod.

Montauk Jumbo Porgies and Sea Bass Captain Dave reports another good day of fishing aboard the Viking Star. We had a mixed bag with porgies, sea bass, cod and some blues. It was a pretty decent day all around and everyone went home with plenty of fish. Today’s first place pool winner was K. Huang of NY, NY with a JUMBO 3.6lb porgy and in second place was Ronald Burrus of Brooklyn with a 14lb cod.

Montauk Fall Jumbo Porgies and Sea Bass Captain Anthony reports an excellent day of fishing the Block Grounds on the Viking Star. Although it may have not been as fast and ferocious as the last few days, the quality of fish was better with the majority of our anglers retaining their limits of jumbo porgies and sea bass, as well as approximately 20 keeper cod up to 18lbs. The first place pool winner was Michael Bolton from Brentwood, NY with a 3.9lb porgy. The edible pool winner was Marion Martin from Brooklyn, NY with a 9lb cod fish.

Montauk Fall Jumbo Porgies and Sea Bass-Viking Star Captain Dave reports a slower day today on the Viking Star, but we had nice quality market fish. There were 28 cod up to 20lbs. The first place pool winner was Unidentified Angler with a 3.5lb porgy. The edible pool winner was Dimtros Gountas from Philadelphia, PA with a 20lb cod fish. As soon as we set in it didn’t take long to figure out their cat and mouse game and we dialed in on them quickly. From there on it was game on! Montauk Jumbo Porgies and Sea Bass Viking Superstar Captain Anthony reports an outstanding day of bottom fishing on the block grounds. Our anglers had non stop action all day retaining their limits of jumbo porgies and sea bass. There were also about 25 keeper cod aboard up to 20lbs. Today’s first place pool winner was 8 year old Michael Gutierrez of Hampton Bays with a 17lb cod and in second place was Mamdouh Sirag of Middle Village with a 3.5lb porgy. Viking Star Captain Dave reports an excellent day of porgy and sea bass fishing. Almost everyone had their limits with full coolers of fish with lots of porgies, sea bass, some blues and about 30+ cod up to 15lbs. The pool winner was Milton Nelson of Brooklyn with a 3.25lb porgy.  .

Montauk Fall Jumbo Porgies and Sea Bass Captain Steven Sr reports another great day of fishing on the Viking Star. Our anglers had their limits of porgies and sea bass. There was also a nice catch of cod brought on board. The pool winner was Aqules Gonzales from Union City, NJ with a 4.2lb porgy.

The first place pool winner was Jose Supi from New York, NY with a 3.2lb porgy. The edible pool winner was Angel Hernardec from Brooklyn, NY with a 12lb cod.

Our anglers put a great catch together of jumbo porgies, sea bass, as well as 25 keeper cod to 25lbs. The first place pool winner was Carmelo Leon from Yonkers, NY with a 3.9lb porgy.
