Montauk Fall Jumbo Porgies and Sea Bass
Captain Anthony reports an excellent day of fishing the Block Grounds on the Viking Star. Although it may have not been as fast and ferocious as the last few days, the quality of fish was better with the majority of our anglers retaining their limits of jumbo porgies and sea bass, as well as approximately 20 keeper cod up to 18lbs. The first place pool winner was Michael Bolton from Brentwood, NY with a 3.9lb porgy. The edible pool winner was Marion Martin from Brooklyn, NY with a 9lb cod fish.
