2 Night Tuna LTD  Friday Sept 18-Sun Sept 20 Captain Steven Sr will have a full report later. The tuna pool winner was Jay Kim from  Lodi, NJ with a 75lb yellow.  The sword pool winner was Brad Bergen from East Islip, NY with a 110 pounder. The big eye pool winner  was Joseph Khamis from West Chester, NY with a 180 pounder. Half Day PM Captain Stephen Francis reports a nice afternoon of fishing today. We targeted mostly sea bass and porgies and everyone caught really well. We did have some fluke in the mix. Today’s pool winner was Angelow Demetroulakos of Brooklym with another 4 lb fluke. Half Day Fluke PM Captain Dave G reports a beautiful afternoon on the water with some great fishing. We had a slow start with the slack tide, but once the tide started going, the fish started biting! 3 Day TNT Sept 14 – Sept 17 The pool winners were Elliott Segal from Smithtown, NY with a tile fish (size to follow) and Geoff Morse from Boston, MA with a Swordfish and Ken Clark with a Tuna. Full report to follow. Mixed Bag – AM Captain Dave G reports a great morning of fishing. On the first drop we caught a lot of big porgies. After that we caught big sea bass and a keeper fluke. Everyone had full buckets. The pool winner was Kimberly Cuozzo from Wappingsfalls, NY with a 4.5lb fluke. Half Day Fluke PM Captain Dave G  reports a good afternoon of fishing. We had keeper fluke, sea bass and porgies. Today’s pool winner was Don Leisengang of Putnam Valley with a 4lb fluke. Montauk  Fall Jumbo Porgy and Sea Bass Captain Dave reports a slower start today. After they moved and anchored up fishing got good. Porgies, sea bass, fluke and cod came over the rails. The pool winner was Lee Hung from Brooklyn, NY with a 3.5lb porgy. Second place went to Jim Sincebaugh from Rochester, NY with a 12lb blue fish. Half Day Fluke PM Captain Stephen D reports slow going on the fluke grounds this afternoon. We had solid sea bass and scup coming over the rails. The Pool winner Karol Draspa from Poland with a 3lbs Sea Bass. The Pool winner was Henry Dan from Queens, NY with a 2.5 lb porgy. The edible pool winner was Louis Mercieca from Merrick, NY with a 7lb blue fish. 1/2 Day AM Captain Stephen D reports a very good day fishing aboard the Viking Stariper. They were a lot of fluke, porgies and sea bass to go around. The pool winner was Gary Romanoff from East Meadow, NY with a 6lb fluke. Montauk Fall Jumbo Porgies and Sea Bass Captain Dave reports a better day than yesterday aboard the Viking Starship, but the fish were still a little picky. Once the wind died down they had a good catch of nice sized porgies, sea bass, 25 cod, and a few fluke. The winner of both pools was Alan Xu from Bayside, Queens with a jumbo 4.25 lb porgy and a 13.25 lb cod. Half Day Fluke PM Captain Steven Jr  reports a EXCELLENT afternoon with tons of action and full buckets of fish for everyone to take home. The pool winner was Mark Rebehn from North Babylon, NY with 6lbs Fluke. Montauk Fall Jumbo Porgies and Sea Bass Captain Dave reports tough and windy conditions today on the porgy and sea bass grounds due to the weather we still manage to get some fish on the dinner table. Montauk Fall Jumbo Porgies and Sea Bass Captain Dave reports an okay day despite the rough conditions today aboard the Viking Starship. It was slower than it has been, but we had a slow steady pick of nice sized porgies and sea bass. We also had a handful of cod, some bluefish some fluke in the mix. Today’s first place pool winner was Victor Suero of the Bronx with a 4lb porgy and in second place was Chata Kamal of Queens with a 13.5 bluefish. Night Striped Bass Captain Steven Sr reports a very slow evening aboard the Viking Starship. There was not much action, but we did have a  37lb 8oz bass caught by Ben Maritato.

Porgies were a little bit off, but they were quality fish. We limited out on sea bass and there were 45 keeper cod with high hook having 6. They averaged around 12 pounds. Barclay Bank Half Day AM Charter Captain Dave G reports a great morning of fishing aboard the Viking Stariper despite the rough conditions. We caught a boat load of porgies, sea bass and a keeper fluke. The Barclay Bank group had a great time! The Viking Fleet would like to thank everyone for an awesome morning. The first place winner was Brian Bruening of Cleveland, OH with a 3.9lb fluke and in second place was Michael Lauipour of NY with a 2.7lb sea bass.
