Mon Aug 22- Montauk Lighthouse Jumbo Porgies & Knothead SeaBass

Capt Dave reports a very good day of Porgy fishing today on the Viking Starlite. The conditions today in the rain more for a more difficult trip but the fishing was still very good. The SeaBass bite was off today, with a lot smaller fish than we’ve been seeing, but we had plenty of large and jumbo sized Porgies as well as a load of Trigger Fish. There was no pool today on the boat. We will be sailing tomorrow on the 5 am Porgy and SeaBass trip tomorrow (Tuesday August 23rd).

Mon Aug 22- 1/2 Day Fishing AM

Capt JR reports a pretty good morning of fishing today on the Viking Star. Conditions made for a more difficult day of fishing fighting the rain and wind but we managed to get a decent trip out of it. Plenty of Porgies and SeaBass, everyone went home with fish. Not a bad catch on a wet day. There was no pool today. Our 1pm 1/2 day fishing trip is cancelled due to the weather.

Sun Aug 21- Whale Watch
