Capt JR reports a very good trip on the Viking Starship. We saw even more improvement on the Porgy front with double headers coming over the rail. Most were in the large to jumbo range. There was also a good amount of quality sized Cod and plenty of Sea Bass. We also had some Weakfish….

Capt Dave reports good fishing on the Viking Starship. The Porgies were off the bite again today, but there were plenty of Sea Bass around. We started the morning with a very good drop that mainly produced Sea Bass, so we spent the rest of the trip looking around for Porgies. We found some everywhere we went along with more Sea Bass. Hopefully the Porgies will pick up after the full moon is over. There were also about a dozen Cod. The pool winner was Mr. Park from NYC with a 2 3/4 lb Porgy. We are definitely sailing tomorrow. The office will open at 4am for check in and ticket sales.
