Wed Nov 5 – Block Island Fall Jumbo Porgies & Knothead Sea Bass

Capt Dave reports a good trip on the Viking Starship despite the weather conditions. We went fishing at Block Island and found many beautiful sizes of Sea Bass. We also caught some decent-sized of Porgies. Then we went offshore to take a look, and we caught some good-sized of Porgies, Sea Bass, Bluefish and Mackerel….

Mon Nov 3 – Block Island Fall Jumbo Porgies & Knothead Sea Bass

Capt Dave reports a good trip on the Viking Starship. The morning started busy near the island, where we were able to catch a great mix of Sea Bass sizes.We didn’t have the same lucky for Porgies fishing because we found a few small ones. Then we went to offshore to take a look, and we found great sizes of Porgies. People were able to fill their buckets and take home. Congratulations to our pool winner, Lee Chui from NYC with a 3.2 lb Porgy. Sun Nov 2 – Squid Fishing – Viking Starship

Captain Carl reports a huge improvement on the Squid boat tonight! We saw many double and even triple headers tonight and pretty much everything was Extra Extra Large Size! As always, some anglers did GREAT, with well over a bucket full of huge Montauk Squid, while others caught just OK. We are sailing again tonight, so be sure to book your spot!

Sun Nov 2 – Block Island Fall Jumbo Porgies & Knothead Sea Bass

Capt Dave reports a Excellent trip on the Viking Starship. Our morning stared off very active with many beautiful and big sizes of Sea Bass. We also found a mixed pick of small Porgies. Then we went offshore to take a look around, so we were able to catch good sizes of Porgies, Bluefish and Mackerel. We all went home happy with buckets full.  The first place pool winner was Julio Alcantara from Leopard, NY with a 53.1 lb Porgy.
