Capt Steven Jr reports another good trip on our 36 Hour Private Charter with 19 Yellow Fin up to 91.7 lbs! We stayed closer to home this trip and found fish flying out of the water when we arrived. A couple of fish were around 50 lbs, but the majority of them were 60-80 lbs. Overall a great trip with an awesome group of guys and good fishing. Capt Steven Jr reports another great trip offshore this weekend with 19 big Yellow Fin up to 124lbs!! We had a steady pick of fish all day long on the troll and the night chunk remains quiet. We only had one fish around 50 lbs and the rest were all 75 lbs or bigger!! We only weighed 2 of the bigger fish and they came in at 121 lbs and 124 lbs! We had 2 other fish that were very close in size and another 4 fish that were right around the 100 lb mark. Definitely the best sized fish that we have seen in a number of years. Capt Steven Jr reports a tough go at it for the Full Moon Bass Trip. There was a couple shorts and some other dropped fish, but we only had one to take home for the night.

Capt Steven Jr reports a good afternoon on the Viking Fivestar. We had steady action throughout the whole trip. The guys ended up with a mess of big SeaBass, nice Fluke and a load of Porgies.

Capt Steven Jr reports a tough trip this weekend being that we were limited on how far we could run on the short trip. We fished closer to home and managed 3 big yellow fin and a decent shot of nice Mahi. The quality yellows are making their way closer but the big body of fish is not here yet. We are looking forward to getting back out again this weekend on a 48 hour trip.

Capt Steven Jr reports a great morning trip on the Viking Fivestar. We had four big Striped Bass and then we did some bottom fishing and grabbed 3/4 of a basket of Big SeaBass and Porgies.

Captain Steven Jr reports on the Viking Fivestar that they had a phenomenal first day Fluking and a very tough day Cod fishing.  We started off on the Nantucket Fluke grounds and had great action all day with some amazing quality sized fish.  Most fish averaged 4-6 pounds and we had over 35 fish from 8-10 pounds and 5 fish from 10-12 pounds and a 13.4 pound personal best for angler, Bruce Wahl.  By the end of the day everyone had a load of big fluke. Day 2 we decided to go Cod fishing on Coxes Ledge due to the slow fishing reports coming from anglers on Georges Bank.  We didn’t find much better results on Coxes Ledge as they were having on Georges Bank.  We covered a lot of ground from 180 feet of water up to 60 feet…

Capt Steven Jr reports a slow day on the Fivestar. We didn’t find much to work on and covered lots of ground. We ended up with a handful of Cod and a load of big Cunners.

Special Coxes Cod/Black Sea Bass – Viking Fivestar Capt Steven Jr reports that this was our last trip until after Christmas and we managed to put a day together. We had a pick of Haddock first thing in the morning and we drilled it out and ended up with between 50-60 out of it. From there we went looking around hopping spots and didn’t find much till the end of the day where we found a couple Seabass and Cod. We currently don’t have anymore open boat trips on the schedule but within the next few days we will have some Cod/Haddock trips up for January!!
