Wreck Trip Charter – Viking Fivestar Capt Steven Jr reports that we had Rick Harrison and the guys for a wreck trip and we had to work for it but we put a day together. We ended up with a nice pile of jumbo Seabass, Ling and Cod with a couple of haddock as well. It looks like the weather will be keeping us at the dock for the next couple of days. As of now we are looking to get back out on Wednesday the 19th!

Block Island Cod & Sea Bass – Viking Fivestar Capt Steven Sr reports fantastic fishing today on the Viking Fivestar. Today’s plan was to seek revenge after not being able to properly fish the targeted spot on Wednesday’s Offshore Cod/SeaBass trip. Once we got there fishing was good – good. We limited out early on SeaBass, so we hit some other areas where we found a handful of Cod, lots and lots of Ling, some Haddock and Bergalls.  

Haddock/Cod/Scup – Viking Fivestar Capt Steven Jr reports that since our last trip out to the wrecks did not produce, we changed this trip up and went looking for Haddock. It started off slow but we were able to build up a decent pick for a while and put a nice shot of Haddock together. We also had big Scup and Cunners in the mix. High hook had 7 Haddock and most other guys had 3-5 each. At the end of the day we checked out a different area and found a few green Cod that looked to be moving into the area. Block Island Cod & SeaBass – Viking Fivestar Capt Steven Jr reports that with less then favorable conditions we managed to put a day together. We had to work for them, but we had a pick of Haddock and a load of big Scup and big Cunners with only a couple Seabass coming up. High hook had 6 haddock for the day.

Sun Dec 9 Viking Fivestar – Haddocks Capt Steven Jr reports that we had Tommy Alexopoulos and the boys out today any they put a beating on the Haddock! We started offshore and didn’t find anything to work on so we headed inshore and the guys put around 100 haddock on the boat! When the bite slowed down we steamed back to Block Island and made a couple quick Tog drops and had a good handful of Blackfish to wrap up the day. We also had Scup and Ling in the mix and only a couple of Seabass and Cod. The weather is looking good all week and we have a few open spots. Viking Fivestar – Haddock!!  

Block Island Cod & Sea Bass – Viking Fivestar Capt Steven Jr reports a tough grind on the Viking Fivestar. We did manage to find a few nice Cod on a few drops and the few SeaBass we saw were small. We also had some Scup and Ling mixed in.

Wed Dec 5 Block Island Cod/SeaBass/Blackfish – Viking Fivestar Capt Steven Jr reports that we ended up with a good day after a slow start. We had to do some looking around this morning, but we finally found a few Haddock to work on and put a nice catch together. Most guys had 4-5 each and high hook had 7 Haddock. We also had a handful of Seabass, a couple of Cod, Ling and a bunch of Scup.

Special Coxes Cod & Black Sea Bass – Viking Fivestar Capt Steven Jr reports a tough day on the Viking Fivestar with fishing and weather. We never found any Haddock to work on and there was mostly Scup, with a few Ling and SeaBass. Most of the day we had a mix of small stuff and we only found a couple of Cod.

Sat Dec 1 Early Report: Viking Fivestar Capt Steven Jr called in with a quick report that he has found the HADDOCK! The Guys on the Viking Fivestar were rewarded today with incredible Haddock fishing! We have never seen these kinds of numbers of large haddock here so to say that we are excited is an understatement! Capt Steven Jr has added a special HADDOCK Hunt for this Monday on the Viking Fivestar leaving at 4am and returning at 3pm limited to 12 pass and the fare is $250. Don’t miss out!
