Capt JR reports good action on the Viking Star. We had nice sized Fluke and SeaBass with some Porgies in the mix. The first place pool winner was Paul Iannuccilli from West Islip, NY with a 5.25 lb Fluke. The edible pool winner was Tayfun Yazici from Brooklyn, NY with a 4.75 lb SeaBass.
Sat July 17 – Montauk Lighthouse Jumbo Porgies & Knothead SeaBass
Capt Dave reports a repeat of yesterday’s excellent fishing on the Viking Starship. Total bail job at the lighthouse with mixed size Porgies. Once we finished up there we went off to the east to the SeaBass grounds. We picked through some small Seabass and Porgies, but everyone had no problem retaining their limit. The first place pool winner was Jose Rosado from Riverhead, NY with a 2 1/2 lb Porgy. The edible pool winner was Vinroy Jarrett from Bronx, NY with a 4 lb SeaBass.

Capt JR reports an excellent trip onboard the Viking Star this afternoon. From start to finish we had non-stop action with Jumbo Knot Head SeaBass coming over the rails. Fri July 16 – Montauk Lighthouse Jumbo Porgies & Knothead SeaBass
Capt Dave reports a fantastic day on the Viking Starship. It was a BAIL JOB at the lighthouse with bigger Porgies in the mix today. We were done at the lighthouse early so we spent more time fishing offshore for SeaBass. We had to pick through smaller fish today, but the keepers were up to 4 1/2 lbs. The first place pool winner was Seegobin Roopnarine from Queens, NY with a 2 3/4 lb Porgy. The edible pool winner was Danny Ko from NYC with a 4 1/2 lb SeaBass.

We had an action packed trip this afternoon on the Viking Star. Lots of Jumbo Sea Bass coming over the rail for nonstop action. We also boated a few KEEPER Fluke and some Jumbo oven stuffer sized Porgies. There was not a pool this afternoon.
