Friday May 30-  June 3rd Tile Cod & Fluke

Captain Steven Sr. reports that this trip started off as a turn around trip with the weather being so bad the first day and a half that we headed inshore. For the first part of the trip it was bad weather and bad fishing but the second half of the trip totally turned around for the best. Cod fishing was very good and Tile fishing was excellent. During the five hours of Tile Fishing was better than some all day trips we have had! We saw Tiles on every drift , nice Tiles, mostly medium with large ones mixed in. It was good good!
Robert Riccidi of Copiague NY was the Tile pool winner with a 23lb Tilefish. The Cod pool was taken by Jose Ruiz of Brooklyn NY with a beauty 15 pounder. Lastly Dimitry  Rukhlin of Smithtown NY caught a nice 5.5lb Fluke to win the Fluke pool.
