Nomans Blackfish Report
Viking Style Blackfish Bonanza!
Capt Carl reports excellent black fishing on the Viking star. Once we anchored up, Chris Rutherford immediately needed a net for an almost 11 pound Blackfish. Then, just about every rod on the boat was bent for the next half hour for an all out beat down on blackfish with some nice sea bass mixed in too! It was awesome fishing for the next couple of hours too, an we quickly put together an easy boat limit of quality blackfish and even saw some anglers catch and release! We had quite a few fish in the 8-10 pound range too. It was just all together awesome! The seabass was just OK by the end of the day, but still many anglers had limits of both. We even saw a few cod and ling. the Wreck Fish Mafia was on an absolute tear and all the boys cleaned up. Chris R just barely got beat out of the pool by Juan Mendez who had an 11 pound bulldog! Neyro Guerrero took the Sea bass pool with a 3.5 pound biscuit.

We have added another Nomans Blackfish special for both this Tuesday for Veterans Day and next Saturday as well. This Tuesday’s weather looks absolutely perfect so come get them while you can!

Block Island Porgies and Sea Bass
Captain Dave reports a good day of fishing today aboard the Viking Starship. Everyone had their fill with plenty of porgies up to 3.5lbs and sea bass up to 5lbs. We also had about a half a dozen keeper cod up to 10lbs. Today’s first place pool winner was Chiquinquiro Hilaripzi of Philidelphia with a 3lb porgy and in second place was Maurice Wauchope of Hempstead with a 10 lb cod.
