Full Day Fluke and Sea Bass
Captain Stephen Francis reports another day of AMAZING fishing today aboard the Viking Stariper! The boat had its limit of fluke by 11am, with many people having throwbacks after 5 fish because they had already caught their limit/ We picked at the sea bass the whole time as well. We focused in on the sea bass and caught our limit of sea bass as well! Everybody went home with coolers full of fish!

Half Day Fluke PM
Captain Joey D reports a fine afternoon of fluke fishing. We had another great mix of porgies, sea bass and fluke. Everyone went home happy with fish for dinner tonight! Today’s pool winner was Isaac of Park Slope with a nice 6.1lb fluke.

Half Day Fluke AM
Captain Joey D reports a very good day of fluke fishing today aboard the Viking Star! There was lots of action with a nice amount of keeper fluke, porgies and sea bass. Today’s first place pool winner was Al Dwyer of Kings Park with a 4.1lb fluke.

Night Striped Bass
56 lbs 11oz BEHEMOTH on the Viking Starship!
Capt Carl reports some decent action on the BI Bass boat last night. Again, we had wimpy tide against the wind, but we managed to grab one here and one there during the night. Most were large model stripers. The highlight of the night was watching Gary “Big Fish” Young hook into, battle with perfection, and land a 56 lbs 11 oz Viking Behemoth Bass! What a fish! Check out the pics! Congrats on a real trophy Gary!
